I don’t think that anyone has created this component in the past. You can daatsheet the datasheet from their website and then use the ‘New Component Wizard’ to create it.

I tried to work out how to modify an datxsheet model ADGFbut failed miserably, as I’m not able to infer the language syntax from the model content unlike the digital models which I could work out, albeit slowly.

The main differences are. An alternative approch might be to hack the model for the 74HC, but again, I wouldn’t know quite where to start! I know that it can be frustrating when the component you need is not there.

Another idea would be to use the default model. Here’s an alternative idea that might help. If this model is fairly close to what you need then instead of editing the model try editing the symbol to reflect the pin names you require. The only difference will be the EN signal as it will still be active high instead of active low. This will still require an inverter to create the proper logic signals you need. As far as the voltage pins.

With this configuration on an IC it really makes no difference as to what they are called so you can edit the symbol and call it what you hv4051 i. You can just cut a paste it into Notepad or some other text editor and edit it that way.

If I have misunderstood please forgive me. Also, in your original post you said the IC was 74hc, but the model file you posted says 74hc Could you please clarify which one it actually is?

Message 1 of Message 2 of Message 3 of Message 4 of Kittmaster’s Component Database http: Message 5 of I created a very hc0451 no attempt to model delays or capacitive loading model which I think ought to work, but it behaves slightly oddly. What is far more bothering is scoping the output at Z shows only 1.

What have I done wrong please? Message 6 of I think I see why the hf4051 may be very low perhaps – I put a 10K resistor between the output and ground and the output vanished. So my guess is that the switch isn’t switching. How can I debug this please? Can Dataeheet take the model and write it to a. Message 7 of Message 8 of Here it is with the model name corrected and also with a correction to the Mux Input selection switches bit, which I initially hoped was what my problem was, but it is still not working.

Message 9 of I did try save dataeheet model as a. So that clearly doesn’t fly as an option: Message 10 of
