I love that there are intense moments but it didn’t garffiti me, just made me want to read this as fast as I could and savor it at the same time.

Somehow she says more in one sentence than most people are able to say in twenty. And the writing style really lends to the story’s setting, because it gives the whole book this sort of dreamlike quality to it which is perfect for a book that takes place in the middle of the night.

Her characters are extremely likable and funny, and they have such great relationships. The writing is so beautiful it almost hurts. Her words seem to flow easily and I devoured them in a rapid pace. Forgot to mention Poet always pens a little something with each painting so they’re known as a duo: If only more YA was written with the same heart and skill! But this is, definitely, definitely, a book that needs your attention.
Perhaps that’s why they chose to leave that little snippet out of the US edition, which brings me to my next topic.
