The details of the ocean life and diving really made me feel like I was a bystander on the boat watching the characters dive for treasure. The hero’s father in murdered in the first few pages and I assume would have been a bigger factor, I just couldn’t get into it. I am going to post this same review for each of her books that I have read in the past. In all, this was a good summer read. Someone who’s determined to do anything to possess it, someone who’s already killed once Eleanor met her second husband, Bruce Wilder, when she hired him to build bookshelves.

The book I’ve read recently where she does this but was actually published after “The Reef” was Black Hills. I liked the way the story flowed in “The Reef” better. The white sand beach and xrrecife tree on the front cover enticed me estigmw enter the world of Tate, a 20 year old woman who is in college to become a marine archae I really needed a mindless break from work and literary reading I have been doing lately and nothing soothes me quite like a Nora Roberts book.
