Overview Inside the Book. All that happens when punching brear is that it simply turns the other cheek. Read Beranbaum for her detail, then Reinhart for his mastery, beranbaaum you’ll be one badass breadman. I bought this book when I could afford not to, but I was taken in by its extensive instruction, the brown-colored illustrations, and the stunning color-photo inserts of Crumpets with clotted cream and honey, Basic sourdough loaves with cheeses, fruits, and nuts, Ciabatta with soppressata, Pugliese, Stages of sourdough starter from left to right, in Mason jarsand Prosciutto ring with Chianti.
Beranbaum’s The Cake Bible is now in its 30th printing; this volume, which is a selection of The Good Cook Club, appears poised for similar success.
