Albert Nobss is a gender-bending examination of sexuality from the early-twentieth century, with discussions of everything from same-sex cohabitation to polygamy, but it also borders on the absurd, as if Moore were piling on improbable scenarios for shock value.
It’s a long short story or a short novella,so it’s a quick read. I was teorge intrigued by it after reading her thesis through that I immediately downloaded it onto my Kindle and read it a couple of days later. Overall, an interesting novel to read, in that I’ve never read one like it.
