It took only minutes, but when it was done and his arms smoked in the light, he cursed his ancestry as he had many times in his one hundred and fifty years. When i bought these books i assumed it would be just another vampire series, but boy was i wrong. Meanwhile Ethan is punished for completing only half the job, killing Nicholas’ mate but not kidnapping the child.
The developments surrounding Gray were tantalizing since this will round out what Laura seems to be trying to express about class inequality in the vampire society.
